Support our QEH pupils with your experience and advice

General Studies Talks

On Tuesday afternoons, we invite OEs back to school to speak to our Sixth Form and give their advice on a broad range of career paths.

UCAS Day

In June, we invite our recent leavers back to share their experiences of life post-QEH with our Year 12 pupils. Whether they've gone to university, taken a gap year, or started an apprenticeship, it's invaluable for our pupils to hear their tips and advice.

Mock Interviews

Annually, we host mock interviews for Year 12 and Year 10 pupils. We invite Old Elizabethans to act as an interviewer and offer advice to our pupils. For 2025, interviews will take place on 11 February and 12 February.

Speed Networking

Speed networking provides an opportunity for our Year 12 pupils to have 5 minute chats with multiple professionals offering them a variety of advice, opportunities to ask questions, and learn more about different career paths.

Next Steps Mentoring

The QEH Next Steps Mentoring Programme pairs Year 12 pupils with an Old Elizabethan who can support them as they think through their future plans. This gives QEH pupils the opportunity to talk to someone who has, almost literally, been in their position before.
