Charter Day

Charter Day was celebrated this year on April 5th, the last day of term. As usual the celebration took place at Bristol Cathedral where all the pupils gathered with dignitaries including the Lord Mayor, the Chairman of QEH Governors and a number of Old Elizabethans..

The School choir demonstrated its considerable musical talent both by leading the congregation in the hymns and singing a wonderful anthem, ”Perfect Peace”, composed by Edward Gent, Head of Music.

The Address was given by The Reverend Jeremy Taylor, an Old Elizabethan and the Retiring Collection was in aid of the Ugandan Education Fund, which helps children who would have no secondary education otherwise.
