Aubrey sadly passed away on Sunday 19th November, a few days after his 92nd birthday which he was determined to reach.

Aubrey's family would like to invite OEs who knew him to a Thanksgiving Service at St. Mary’s Church, Stoke Bishop at 12.30pm on Wednesday 20th December.

"I spoke to Aubrey at some Old Boys dinners and warmed to his enthusiasm and humour. I think he was President of the OEs in 2015. He had been a very successful businessman after graduating from Bristol University and became a director of Clyde Petroleum, travelling widely, and then a director of Fulcrum Enterprises Ltd. On the Internet under his name, you will see a warm tribute for all his years of hard work on the Sneyd Park Residents Association, where he had been a previous Chairman and also Chairman of the Friends of Sneyd Park Nature Reserve.

Aubrey was a good friend of the late Dr. Colin Richards, both having entered QEH in 1943-44 and they regularly sat together at Old Boys Dinners.

Aubrey achieved much. He was extrovert, very sociable, hard working and had a good sense of humour. I like to think he was typical of many OEs."   ~ Roger Gould (1952).
