OE offers nurses Southmead flat rent-free

A lovely example of an OE following the school's motto

OE News
2012 Leaver Jonny Stubbs was featured in local news last week after he selflessly vacated his flat in Horfield to give two nurses free accommodation near Southmead Hospital. Jonny, now working as a financial planner, moved out of his property on the eve of coronavirus lockdown to be with his parents in Bristol. But the 25-year-old reached out via social media offering his flat to NHS key workers at this troubling time. In his message Jonny wrote: "I've seen news reports over the past few days of doctors and nurses dealing with suspected Covid-19 patients having to self-isolate from their family, especially in cases where there is a high risk member in their household.  If anyone knows of anyone in this situation, that would like a place to stay, I'm offering my flat free of charge to a medic that needs it for the duration of the lockdown.’ The flat was snapped up by two nurses, who will now be able to live a short way from their hospital, rent-free and utility-bill free, for the duration of the crisis. Well done Jonny!
