Old Elizabethans RFC v Hucclecote RFC, 30th January 2022

1st XV SQUAD: George Burnie (c), Matthew Bailey, James Brooke, Dom Horn, Rob Lee, Henry Kirkpatrick, Ashe Raymond-Barker, Herbie Gale, Sam Hygate, Will Appleton, Tobias Burden, Joe Waktins, Sam Brewer, Pat Dore, Matt Carr, Rhys Edwards, Dickie Thomas, Alex Potts.

Unfortunately, our regular sports reporter (Paul “Blakey” Barrington) is away on safari for the next couple of weeks so there is no detailed match report.

It was a great match to watch with both teams fairly evenly matched. OEs came from behind to eventually win the match

FINAL SCORE: Old Elizabethans 18 – Hucclecote 9

Next week we welcome Cheltenham Saracens to Hallen, a match which was postponed from 18th December. They have won three of their last four matches and will be a good test for OEs.
