OEs 1st XV LOSE Away to Cheltenham North

If lasts weeks game was recorded as taking place in blustery conditions then this week’s match conditions can only be described as apocalyptic. I can only remember one other match in the dim and distant past where conditions were worse and that was when we played up on Lansdown in the middle of winter and the wind and snow were blowing sideways across the pitch. I remember Pat White stood on the touchline in a big orange plastic bag and Colin Williams suffering from hypothermia – well this last Saturday was pretty close, a freezing cold blustering wind with the wettest of rain you can imagine.
