General Studies Talks
On Thursdays, we invite OEs back to school to speak to our Sixth Form and give their advice on a broad range of career paths. Recent speakers include journalists, consultants, Royal Navy officers, policemen, civil servants, and engineers, with many companies represented such as Airbus, Deloitte, and the BBC.
UCAS Day
In June, we invite our recent leavers back to share their experiences of life post-QEH with our Year 12 pupils. Whether they've gone to university, taken a gap year, or started an apprenticeship, it's invaluable for our pupils to hear their tips and advice.
Specialist Careers Evenings
We held our first specialist Careers Evening recently - 'Meet The Medics', in which we invited five professionals from across the medical industry to speak about their role and their journey to getting there. It was great to hear from our OEs who have pursued careers in this area. We hope to hold more events such as these in the future.
Networking
We hope to launch more networking events specifically for our alumni, so watch this space and get in touch if you have any ideas or requests.
