Giving Back
Due to the circumstances, we were unable to run our annual UCAS Day as normal this year, however with the help of our recent leavers we were able to run the event virtually.

The day is designed to assist our Year 12 pupils prepare for life after QEH, whether that is attending university, taking a Gap Year, or seeking employment or an apprenticeship.

In the morning, thanks to modern technology, the pupils watched presentations delivered by Bristol, Exeter, and Cardiff universities, whilst Head of Careers Michelle Dimes gave a presentation explaining the intricacies of UCAS and applications.

In the afternoon, the pupils watched videos kindly made by our OEs detailing their experiences of university so far, and their top tips on applications, choosing a course, and university life in general.

We are very thankful to those OEs who took time to record videos and relay their advice to the Year 12s. It's extremely valuable for the pupils to be able to hear and learn from familiar faces who have been in their shoes.
