Congratulations to, OE and former member of Staff, Geoff Wickham who has been awarded the British Empire Medal for 'Services to Music in Bristol' in the 2020 New Year's Honours List.
Geoff has been Music Director of the Yate Choral Society for 48 years and Music Director of the Bristol Cathedral Choir School Choral Society for over 15 years. Among his many other roles he has been, conductor of the Bristol Mercury Players, Bristol Opera and Bristol Catholic Players, and composer and arranger of choral works. In 2008 his wide knowledge of music was on show as a finalist in BBC Radio 4's music quiz 'Counterpoint'.
