Choristers from QEH’s senior school put on their blue coats last week and enjoyed becoming a part of the annual traditional performance at the Lord Mayor’s At Home event.
The chamber choir joined together with Redmaid’s High School's chamber choir for an afternoon of singing some Christmas carols for the Lord Mayor himself, as well as other guests at the Lord Mayor’s Mansion House.
They delivered a beautiful performance from the victorian staircase that overlooked the Mayor’s impressive Christmas tree, which made quite the festive afternoon.
As the City School, this is a tradition QEH has participated in for many years that many of our OEs will remember doing themselves in their own schooldays in the choir.
