In December, the QEH rugby 1st XV team were incredibly well supported by peers, parents, staff as well as our lovely alumni!
Over 50 OEs gathered in Fortress Failand’s pavilion prior to the match firstly to keep warm, and secondly to have a catch-up over a bacon roll and a coffee. It was great to see OEs of different ages all reconnecting over their collective memories of QEH rugby and their support of our current QEH players. Old Elizabethans RFC also came along to support their old teams before playing their own matches later that day.
For their final game of the season, QEH 1st XV’s were competing against Beechen Cliff School, and we are pleased to say QEH won 24- 19! It was a fantastic game to watch with a great atmosphere all around.
Thank you to all of our QEH community for coming along to watch and cheer on our excellent 1st XV team!
It was brilliant to see so many of you there.
