65 members of The Elizabethan Society (including former pupils, former staff, governors, and current teachers) attended this unique event. The afternoon included a personal tour from James Heappey himself, who gave us a look into locations such as the chapel and the Houses of Parliament.
Following the tour, we then had a delicious reception in the terraces whereby alumni were able to reconnect with one another and make new connections.
We also heard from the Head, Rupert Heathcote, who gave an update on the school, OE Kadeem Houson, who spoke about his transformative education whilst on a bursary at QEH, and James Heappey who thanked all for attending and reflected upon his enjoyable experience at QEH.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended, we were thrilled to see so many familiar faces, as well as meet some new people. It was an unforgettable afternoon and we very much are looking forward to our next event in London.
We are always looking to improve our events so if there are any future events you would like us to hold, or if you would like to host an event for us, please do get in touch by emailing apurvis@qehbristol.co.uk
If you missed out on this event, please make sure you sign up for our much-anticipated Old Elizabethan’s annual Bristol Dinner which will be taking place on the 11th of November 2023.
