OE Events & Reunions |
Last Friday, the 28th February, we held our annual Cambridge Dinner at Jesus College. This was Stephen Holliday’s last OE event as Headmaster, and the event was very well-attended. It was especially great to see all four of our first year Cambridge undergraduates in attendance.
Following on from the success of last year’s trip, we took sixteen of our Year 12 pupils to the Dinner so they could talk to our alumni, and gain advice and inspiration on applying for Oxbridge. Earlier in the day, recent QEH Leavers Lukha Aggarwal and Toby Speirs showed us around their respective Colleges - St. Catharine's College and Queens' College.
After a night in the luxurious Travelodge, on Saturday morning we met up with 2019 Leaver Sam Perry, and the pupils had time to explore Cambridge city centre and the Fitzwilliam Museum. They all left Cambridge inspired to work extra hard on their Oxbridge applications!
Thanks very much to all those who attended.
