OE Events & Reunions |
Last week we were pleased to re-start the tradition of the annual OE dinner in London. After a two-year break due to COVID, it was fantastic to see OEs keen to reconnect in London.
This was our head, Mr Heathcote's, first London Dinner too. He spoke about the school's vision to become more accessible for Bristol families. One way he hopes to do this is by offering more bursary places, he explained that this will enrich our community and widen educational opportunities.
Mr Dave Bateson also delivered a very moving tribute to Dave Perkins that included some hilarious stories of the QEH legend and the heart-warming image of the many attendees in brightly coloured rugby shirts at the funeral which took place earlier that day.
The evening was a great success, with OEs ranging from 1958 - 2015 all sharing their memories of their time at QEH.
We are busy planning some other ideas which we are excited to announce soon. In the meantime why not register your profile and update your contact details so that we can send you alerts of these exciting developments! Our next event is the Bristol Dinner which is taking place on the 12th of November.
In the meantime, we'd love to invite you in for a tour, just email mhazell@qehbristol.co.uk to put a date in the diary.
