Charter Day 2023

433 years since the charter was initiated in 1590, pupils and staff attended the ceremony at Bristol Cathedral which reinforced the philanthropic message of; “dum tempus habemus operemur bonum” to which we are proud to have remained true.

The preacher was The Reverend Will Fairbairn (OE 2000-2007), Vicar, Redland Church, Bristol. The Chairman of the Governors and the Captains of School also spoke.

Some of our alumni also joined us in the Chapter House for refreshments afterwards.
