School News |
Despite the lockdown, weekly lunchtime concerts continue, as pupils and musical instrument teachers film themselves playing their favourite pieces at home and send them to Mr Gent, Director of Music, to edit together. A bigger challenge for Mr Gent's editing skills has been the Jazz Band, especially when some of the instruments are locked in school! However, their brilliant online performance, of Stevie Wonder's 'Higher Ground' can be viewed here and we are promised more in future weeks.
The Cyber Choir is up and running too and their debut can be viewed in the video here (another editing challenge for Mr Gent!). We are also promised more performances from the choir in the coming weeks.
All of the performances, and other QEH Music news, can be viewed on the QEH Music Facebook page.
